Noticed in launchpad had gotten 2 scrivener apps in programs. One called scrivener and the other scrivener 2.0.5…can i delete the last one without any problems? Say i drag it into appcleaner, will it all go apeshit?

Well, worst case scenario you can always download the program again if something goes wrong. That would be terribly wrong though, as dragging something to the Trash is typically pretty easy to reverse—just drag it back out of the Trash. 
Cautionary note: AppCleaner will remove your preference files as well, so instead of using it, I would just delete the older of the two program icons.
