A search for date function

I would like to be able to search for texts with a particular creation or edit date, or even within a range.

My purpose is to find texts that where changed after a particular date, at which they where used in a publication. The reason is to be able to update the publication after I receive the final draft, which, due to long building times, can be up to a year later. During this time I have probably done a load och changes due to the results from other projects, and it is very difficult to track these atomic changes otherwise.

Being selfish, this is for the Windows version… :wink:

We’ll have something for you along these lines eventually. Right now you can turn on the Modified or Created datestamp field in the Outliner as a column. That helps, but it will get better when you can click on an outliner column to sort by that field. Then you could sort by a date and find the range you wish to examine by scrolling. This will be useful for a lot of things—like clustering all sections together by a particular label.
