I use Scrivener on two different computers working on the same projects at home and on the road via Dropbox (works fine). I also frequently update and tweak my templates. My question is: What is the easiest way to keep my templates up to date at both computers?
In the New Projects window, there is a “Manage” button in the lower-left corner. Select the templates you wish to export as files, and use the Manage button to do so. You can then share these as normal files between computers; just toss them into Dropbox somewhere. When you get to the other machine, you can use that same “Manage” button to import them. If the name of the template already exists, you’ll be asked if you wish to overwrite it—in this way you can update existing templates between machines.
