I’ve been getting an Activation Verification Notice lately. Last week or so, ever few times I open the program. I purchased and activated Scrivener years ago. And I checked that I am up to date.
I been searching and it seems like this is a known bug and a fix in being worked on. Can anyone verify that this is still true?

You may want to go to the last page and work backwards, as the thread is many pages.

Holy Moly that is a huge thread. I hadn’t found that one yet! Thanks.
PS: for anyone else that sees this as of Oct 10 the thread had “L&L says they are working on a new fix.”
Other threads parts have said that we shouldn’t be worried about being booted.
Do NOT apply the latest fix! Scrivener won’t run after updating.
