"Add to favourites" in binder contextual menu

Hello!

I was wondering what’s the purpose of the “add to/remove from favourites” commands in the binder contextual menu. (see picture)

Thank you for your help!
Cheers

Try adding a favourite, and then using the Go To menu, or create a Scrivener Link. It just increases the prominence of the selected binder item. If you append text to one spot all of the time, you can add it to favourites and it will always be at the very top of the menu. It removes the artificial need to organise the binder in such a way to optimise the menu structure. No need to put a “NOTES” at the very top of the binder above the Draft to make it easier to get to on a regular basis.

Oh, I see. thank you!
