Addle-brained? Perhaps!

Maybe I am approaching this wrongly, but I cannot figure out how or if the Scrivener outline mode works in conjunction with the other modes/views.

I was trying to see if there is a way to link items in the outline to those in other views, but I have yet to figure it out.

Is there?

The Outline is just another way of looking at the content in the Binder, just like the Corkboard and Editor.

Yes, you can split the Editor and have Outline in one half and the Editor in the other and have the Outline decide what is shown in the Editor. You would then have to set Binder Affects Right/Left/Top/Bottom Editor (depending on how you split and where you have the Outline) and set that split to affect the other split.

Just clic on this icon to link outliner (or coarkboard) to the other editor.

Ah, I THINK I got it.
