Adjust column width in Outliner?

Hi, all -

I’ve been using Scrivener for a while but just updated to 2.0. I’ve watched the tutorials and browsed around for an answer to this, so forgive me if this has been addressed elsewhere - I guess I must have missed it then!

My question is, is it possible to adjust the width of the columns in the Outliner? What I’d like is to have a wider view of the Title/Synopsis field - I don’t use many of the other columns (and they are numerical, so need less real estate). Is there a way to expand the width of the columns?

Thanks!

Emily

Hi Emily,

Yes, all you need to do is drag the column divider in the header area (it only works in the header area - don’t ask me why, that’s just the way Apple have set up columns to be resized in general  ). When you move the cursor to the outliner header bar and hover it over the dividing line between two columns, you should see the cursor change to the resize cursor - just click, hold and drag to resize the columns.

Hope that helps.

All the best,
Keith

Perfect!!! Just what I wanted.

Thank you so much!
