I consider the indent on the iBooks e-reader a little big. It’s like an entire 4 characters, and I’d prefer if it were 2.5-3 characters.
So in my custom eBook compile format I edited ‘section text’ in the section layout by dragging the marker for where the indent is from 0.29 to 0.22.
One would think that would solve the issue. It didn’t. I’d like to think I did that correctly, but I’d also like to think I’ve overlooked something that possibly one of you gurus can point me to.
I had no real problem changing the space after a paragraph to 4 pts. That seemed to go smoothly. But the indent won’t budge. Is it possible the e-reader simply overrides this? (in their infinite wisdom)
They seem to do this more often than I’d like. They center all graphics. But maybe I don’t want a graphic centered.
‘Too bad, Jack, we’re Apple, and we’ll be calling all the shots’.
Kindle is just as guilty, if not more so.
