In Inspector/General the modified or created date is cut (here in France, mercredi/13/12/2006 becomes “mercredi/13/1…”
Is that your short date in System Preferences? The inspector really expects a short day or time with no words. However, that said, I have now set the modified/created date field to auto-expand depending on the width of the inspector, which I had omitted to do before, so this should work better in beta 6.
