There are plenty of alternatives to using Dropbox, if you can’t get it working right now and need something, anything, to get work done. Here are some links to resources I’ve written on alternatives.

On whether you can use whatever sync service you want.
Of special note, Google Drive is not recommended, save as a place to store zipped copies of the project, as described in the next link.

FAQ answer on alternatives to sync. This is by the way, a method I developed for my own use, as I have no interest in using Dropbox at all.

The Mac user manual itself, of course. In the chapter on cloud syncing, you will find around half a dozen different methods for conveying work to and fro, with checklists on most of them. The most basic of these is to simply plug the device into your computer and copy it over directly using Apple’s tools for doing so. This can also be done over WiFi if you set your device up to allow that. In short your data is never stuck in one place or another!

Scroll up. I’ve merged this question into an older discussion on the exact same topic. It goes over in greater detail the iOS specific aspects of the alternative sync method in the FAQ. It also covers how safe this method is, over any form of direct syncing, and how it is largely not that much more difficult to use. Again, this is the method I use myself, with my own preferred sync service (Tresorit).
One side note though: where I speak of merging projects, this is presently a Mac-only thing, but it is not by any means necessary and is, if anything, a theoretical safety net that I’ve never once had need to be saved by.

Lastly, this is a checklist for testing sync services. This is of more interest to living syncing projects between desktops, than iOS, to be clear. But if you do intend to use a service for that, and cannot find the service when searching on this forum for discussions on it, that can help you evaluate it.
