Simple question really, I would like to have two windows open on the same project. One showing research images and the other showing the draft so I can work on it.
I can’t find a way to do this, is the only way to use two projects, one for research and one for the draft?
Hi Dave,
You can’t have two windows, but you can have a split screen, horizontal or vertical. You can find details in the help file, or the tutorial, or the video introduction on the website. Not being facetious, just letting you know that all of those resources are there and very good.
Yes, this is actually one of the main features of Scrivener. Just split the editor (click in the icon in the right of the header view or go to View > Layout > Split…). Selecting documents in the binder will open them in whichever editor the keyboard focus is in.
