The question is doubtless a mark of my ignorance, but when did the plural of virus transmute from viruses to virii?
Viruses v. Viriii
My native language is not English but, if Iām not mistaken, āviriiā although not the correct use in English (that would be āvirusesā) is a hypothetical latin plural of virus. Itās only used in computer context and not that official.
