approximating the truth

I like to take notes in 7.5x12 cm rhodia notebooks (with grids). They’re impractically expensive (but great paper) and I throw them away when I’m through with them. But I couldn’t live without them. Starting an article or a feature on anything larger is just too intimidating for me.

Is there an equivalent Scrivener usage scenario?

Sort of a corollary: Could you write in Scrivener only using index cards?

Scratchpad can be resized.

You can resize the main window, too.

Have you tried Outliner?

Have you tried Corkboard?

EDIT: You can write titles and summaries using only index cards, but the index cards only link to the title and summary, so you wouldn’t have any document text.
