Needless to say, though, Scrivener is a little more complicated than “Hello world.” Something like this might simplify the transition for developers, but I doubt it would eliminate it.

Those were some hella big qualifiers at the tail end of the blog post.
After watching the Keynote (3am) if Apple is to be believed, it will be simple as, and legacy apps will run under Rosetta 2.
FCP ran smooth as with 3 streams on a development machine.
IOS apps will run natively, though I see no benefit yo running Scrivener iOS on the Mac.
