I’m feeling much better today anyway, and just have to wait for the ultrasound appointment. I promised myself I wouldn’t eat any more cheese that i find stuck to the cooker either.
Cheese you say? I refer to this blogger’s post only for the pearl of wisdom she offers in her very last line to overindulgent cheese lovers the world over.
I have the reverse experience (as in, the opposite end of the same scale) - my daughter suffered from toddler diarrhea, which meant that among a whole list of very unhealthy suggestions, I was to increase her dairy intake to try and firm up her stool.
The other options were:
give more processed cereals
cut down on fruit
serve white bread instead of brown or wholemeal
fry food instead of baking it
so there I was with a daughter who loved brown bread, adored fruit, and was served healthy foods low in fat (I was liberal with butter and cream, but I didn’t deep fry stuff in oil).
The only two concessions I made was the force feeding of cheese (which she now doesn’t like) and the crappy breakfast cereals, which they both love anyway.
She’s nearly 8 now, and she’s only really been functioning properly for a year.
On the other hand, I once discovered what eating an entire block of rum and raison dark chocolate does to you. It’s not pretty.

What you have to bear in mind, Skalley, when dealing with pink, is that, the most endearing thing about her command of language, isnt the way she says things (accent, dialect, and suchlike), oh no, its what she says.
Double entendre? Do me a favour! Thinly veiled erotic innuendo? Nahh! Forget it. She doesnt do subtlety . Shes multilingual. Pink can, and frequently does, speak filth in seven different languages including, I wouldnt be surprised, Icelandic and Old Norse, and incorporating eighteen regional dialects. Shes even got a handle on Aussie Aboriginal Erotica/Filth. NB Were not talking about kangaroos here, by the way. Thats Matt`s predilection.
