Is there a way to have custom icons automatically applied to folders which are marked as a particular section type?
I’m writing a textbook, and am using a custom section type for “example” and I would like all my examples to stand out in the binder with a distinctive icon.
The way to do this is to use templates, I think.
Create a new document template and give it the section type, icon, and any other metadata (status, label, keywords etc etc) you want. Then, when you need a new example section, just add if from the Project menu (‘New from template’).
That should do the trick. The screenshots below show the basic process.
Thanks. That will work for new sections, but I’m going to add automatic icons to the wish list.
