I’ve looked through the compile screens, this forum, and documentation, but can’t find the solution to this>
When compiling, how do I get the titles of chapters in the binder to automatically land above the chapter text? There are so many presets for chapters, and it gets confusing what the difference is between them, but more importantly, there seems no way to automate the chapter title placements in order to avoid applying a style.
In the Compile Format Designer reached by Double-clicking your Format in the left column of the Compile Overview window, select the Section Layout page.
For the Section Type used by your Chapters, select a Section Layout that has the Title Content type checkbox ticked.
Optionally, add "Chapter <$hn> - " in the prefix box in the Title Options tab halfway the right-hand side of the Compile Format Designer.
