Automatically insert URL link with Clipping

I know the Scrivener clipping service cannot easily access the URL from a browser. But there is a simple and surprisingly accurate way of getting a link from the text content (this is used by DevonThink to link into internal points in a PDF):

Insert a google search link, with a quoted version of [the first N characters of] the clipped text.
Try using this URL:

google.com/search?q=%22And+j … utf-8&aq=t

Almost as good as the direct URL, IMO.

I’m not sure this is that much more useful, to be honest - I think we’d be accused of cheating.

Your call, but it works well when the source is not duplicated at too many sites. Just to make sure, is there currently any way to pull a useful link across with the clipping? Thanks.
