Often I gave to stop, change the tab, and then go again to the browser and drag the link.

The main issue I see with this is that there are other places in the inspector where one might want to drop a link. The Notes field for instance is a good target, and there are custom metadata text fields as well that might exist solely to hold a URL. It is also not uncommon to want a link to something in a footnote or comment.
Okay, I see, but when I hover over the tab icon it would be clear where it should go … ?!
Ah, perhaps I misunderstood. Yeah, hovering over any of the tabs and holding for a second while dragging something could be a nice improvement. I’ll put it on the list to see if it is possible.
In the meanwhile, have a look at the shortcuts in the Navigate ▸ Inspect
submenu. I use those constantly to jump between inspector tabs, and it can make all manner of things easier to do.
