[B26] <$TITLE> and <$modifiedDate> placeholders are not resolving during compile in header/footer

I use the following two placeholders in a footer and neither of them resolve to the appropriate values when compiled.

Headers and footers does not support document specific placeholders yet.

Thank you for clearing that up, Tiho. FYI-- author seems to be working at the moment. Is there a bug number under which this is being tracked so I can spot it in the build/release notes?

The $author placeholder is global for the compile process, but $title and $modifieddate are per compiled document. There is no dedicated ticket as it is part of a bigger pool of issues to fix.
