I would like to know how this can be possible… and also how to get my project back like it was when I closed it last night.
This is something I have never seen…
My project reverted to what it was before I started working seriously on it a few days ago.
I should have more than 300 files in it… there are only 69 (lucky enough, in the files folder, there are the 1095 pieces of it - but as document notes are mixed with text, I cannot say for all of them which notes belong to which document).
The most amazing thing is that the project had only 3 label colours when I began working on it… last night, there where about ten… this morning they are only three… Status too reverted to what it was before I added my own…
The most amazing : my last backups (three, from the last three days !!!) do not show the changes either…
This looks pretty crazy…
EDIT :
Ok, after having taken my courage to import all the files all over, I realise that this is very well organised : synopses and notes are concentrated with the files…
It will be much easier than I thought.
Nevertheless, instead of reading through my project and writing on it, I will spend my week end sorting it out again…
Now I’d like to know if I did something wrong, or if that was a bug…
2nd edit :
Now that I’m trying to sort it out, I see that it is not that nice…
What is called “17” is a file, and what is called “17-note” is a completely different file ; both were not together in the project…
Now I’d like to have a magic wand…
3rd edit :
There is definitely something that went wrong with this project.
I have about 150 files more than before. I understand that these are de document notes.
I see that many of the files called #-note.rtf are NOT my document notes, but documents.
Also some files have been multiplied : I know the project contains duplicates. But some unique files appear to exist twice.
4th edit :
I installed version 1.0.2. in between.
I finally decided to create a completely new project and to import all the files from this project I do no longer trust.
Drag&drop of files from one project to another copies the file in it’s location AND into the previous file or folder shown on the corkboard.
Could this be the reason why I have so many files in my “docs” folder, although the project should not contain more than about 350 files ?
