Today I tried to backup my project. Usually, a progress bar appears. Today it didn’t either when I chose Back Up To option, or Back Up Now, or when I closed Scrivener.
Is this a problem? Is the backup not working at all?

Is it only doing this with one project, or with all? If it’s for one, you could drag all of the elements from the old project into a new project and see if that one will back up. If it’s for all, try uninstalling and reinstalling Scrivener or going back to default options.
Before you do anything drastic, have you taken a look in your backups folder to see if it’s generating the backups? It could be happening so fast that the progress bar doesn’t even bother loading. This isn’t unheard of when a project has a small footprint.
I thought of suggesting this, but assumed that it had already been done. Sort of like when the IT guy asks if the computer is plugged in. Shouldn’t have to be asked, but there you go.
