Background Color for Image Index Cards

Hello,

I’m trying to change the background color of my image index cards from black to white. I began by updating the “Customizable Colors” under Preferences (Appearance), and it’s changed to white in the Synopsis. However, for some reason it isn’t updating in the corkboard (please see attached file - on the right-hand side you can see the synopsis with a white background, and on the corkboard the images with the black background).

I’d like the index cards to look like the ones in this image - http://lh4.ggpht.com/-GHmeqGVx7WA/U4X6Wn4Q6-I/AAAAAAAACwQ/GTJjyRUyzJg/s1600-h/addfromcorkboard4.jpg (though it’s an older version of Scrivener). Any thoughts or suggestions would be much appreciated!

All best,
Jennifer

Hi,

I’ve just taken a look at the code and it seems that this option has never been in there - index card images can only have a black background (in that earlier version it must have been set to white rather than black). The preference only affects the Inspector. I have added it to the list to change this and allow the Preference to affect index cards on the corkboard too, though, as that is clearly going to be the expected behaviour. Thanks for bringing it to my attention.

All the best,
Keith

Thanks for the quick reply, and for adding it to the list! I really appreciate it.

All best,
Jennifer
