I’m not sure if it is a bug or intended behaviour, but I want to clarify this because I meet it very often.
Often I need to copy&paste from Scrivener to another text editor (Libre Office), or from Libre Office to Scrivener. This works differently than in 1.9 version. In Scrivener 1.9 the text is copied by default with formatting (bold, italics), and if I want to paste it without formatting, I need to do Ctrl+Shift+V instead of Ctrl+V.
But in Beta version, when I copy text from Scrivener and then paste it to Libre Office, it is always pasted without formatting. Is there any way to copy with bold and italics preserved?
When I copy from Libre Office to Scrivener, the opposite happens: I don’t have an option to paste with Ctrl+Shift+V and the text is always inserted with all bolds and italics, even when I don’t need it.
Is there any way to keep control of copying and pasting with or without formatting in current Beta? How is it intended to be in the final version?
There is currently a known bug with text copied from Scrivener not correctly pasting into outside programs.
As for using Ctrl+Shift+V for pasting into Scrivener, is this an issue you are still running into in the current beta or has it been fixed in the latest version?
Thank you.
