[Beta 020] clipboard to Evernote fails

This one you may not consider a priority, but it might predict clipboard isn’t quite there yet, and in any case can get its fix in due time. Evernote is pretty useful to writing, and presume others apply it with Scrivener, usually pasting things in from Evernote, which works fine. But it’s very appropriate and useful to be able to go the other way, capturing what’s on Scrivener view to Evernote.

  1. be running Evernote; it’s free download from evernote.com, and installs its clippers, all easy. I’m on the most up-to-date which you’ll receive as normal download.
  2. run Scrivener, and select a text from the editor on a segment
  3. press Windows-A (windows key)
  4. Evernote should receive your selection, normally, and auto-make a note.
  5. However, what actually happens is that you get the alert in screenshot enclosed, indicating Evernote didn’t think there was a selection.

For its proper time.

I can confirm using the same verion of Scrivener and Evernote. Windows+A gives me the same error.
I can however copy/paste from one to another successfully, though it defeats the purpose of the Windows+A.
