I’ve saved a screenplay template in the screenplay category of scrivener. However, when I open the new project dialog box my template is not in the screenplay category. I’ve checked the other categories and it’s not there either.
The template does exist as I have located it at C:\Users\Stacey\AppData\Local\Scrivener\ProjectTemplates.
So the template is there but Scrivener does not appear to be recognising it.
I’ve also noticed a Scrivener HQ directory at C:\Users\Stacey\AppData\Local which also contains a scrivener subfolder. This subfolder contains a projecttemplates folder. This HQ directory has a later timestamp than the first one. The first folder was created 28th Jan 2011 while the Scrivener HQ folder was created 5th March 2011.
Just copied the template files from C:\Users\Stacey\AppData\Local\Scrivener\ProjectTemplates to C:\Users\Stacey\AppData\Local\Scrivener HQ\Scrivener\ProjectTemplates.
I restarted Scrivener and the templates now appear. Templates are being saved to the old template directory and not the newer one created on 5th March.
