When going into concentration mode, the window disappears entirely. ALT-TAB will bring it back onscreen momentarily, then it disappears. Trying to move around with arrow keys will make random lines flicker up, but not the whole screen.
Working on a Surface Pro 4, with high DPI scaling override on (app is pretty much unusable without the override).
What scaling is your Surface display set at? I use this app on a 13-inch 4K display which is a similar DPI as a Surface device with no problem. My display is set to 3840x2160 scaled at 225%
First thing is to turn off all the Windows compatibility adjustments it sounds like you might be using…
Restart Windows.
Then open Scrivner and in File>options on the first tab click Enable HIgh DPI mode. Then on the Edit Tab, turn off Font hinting. Windows Font management in hi-res displays should work better than the QT font hinting…
Restart Scrivner.
At that point, composition mode does not have to fight against Windows compatibility settings.
I have not had to mess with Windows per-app scaling in the beta for almost a year.
