When I download the latest beta version, I get message that the file is blocked because it may do harm to my device. What gives? What should I do? It’s the Windows defender, I believe, that is blocking it. Thanks for any help.
Your antivirus app is blocking the new installer. Suspend your antivirus and install Scrivener, until the new installer builds up credibility with all antivirus vendors.
