Yikes! I’m brand new and have just spent a long laborious process of transferring files into Scrivener, which all seemed good. But now when I click on a file, it goes blank and everything disappears. I must have hit something, but I’m totally lost… Any ideas what I did?
Have you perhaps switched your view mode to something other than text editing, like Outliner? An empty outliner can look a bit like an empty editor if you just glance at it quickly. There are definitely differences though, like no text statistics in the footer bar, and column names below the header bar. If the icon of the item you clicked on has text in the page, it should have text in it.
