Binder : Enter on Folder different from on File or Group

In the Binder, typing Enter on a file or group creates a new item at the same level. On a Folder, however, it creates a nested child inside the folder.

Not a show stopper by any means, but quite repeatable.

That’s not a bug; it’s intended behaviour. “Enter” creates a new text document. If you have a folder selected, it is fair to assume that it is more likely that you will want the text document to be a child of that folder than a sibling. This won’t always be the case, but it is a fair assumption, and you’re the first user to challenge it!
All the best,
Keith

Ah, OK. I had not realized it was by design, I would expect current behavior if the folder (or even document group) is “open”, but did not expect it when the folder is “closed”. Thanks anyway.
