Binder in Full Screen mode?

Is there a way to access a different document using the binder without leaving full screen mode?

For instance, If I need to know some obscure detail about a character that I’ve jotted down in a character sketch, I have to exit full screen mode to get to the character sketch, and then go back to writing. I’m thinking that there has to be a way to access the binder in full screen mode and I’m just not seeing it.

If this is currently not possible, then please kindly accept this as a feature request.

Hi,

There’s no way of accessing the binder in full screen, no, and no plans to add it. However, you can use View > Go To and select the document you want to open from there - you can use this menu to open any document without leaving full screen mode.

Hope that helps.

All the best,
Keith

You could put your character sketch into a Quick Ref pane, and have it visible all the time in Full Screen.

Keith,

Ok. I’ve been using Scrivener for two years and never knew about the View --> Go to Menu… Learn something new every day…

Thanks for the great program

Josh

Thanks for the kind words - glad it helped!
All the best,
Keith
