Hi,
I have my screenplay folder selected in Binder and am viewing my entire screenplay in the editor. The files in the screenplay folder are scenes and the title of each scene is the Scene Heading. Many of my Scene Headings are the same because the scenes are located in just a few places. As I scroll down the editor I cannot figure out how to determine by looking at the Binder, which scene I am reading in the editor. Is there a way to have the scene I am looking at in the editor be indicated in the Binder? Thanks
If I’ve understood this correctly, you’re looking at your document in Scrivenings mode, and as you page through each individual document in the Editor, you want a marker of some sort in the Binder to reflect the position you’ve reached.
In that case, there is a command Reveal in Binder (cmd-opt-R) which as it suggests highlights the current document in the Binder. Apart from that, I can’t recall there being another (automatic) method in Version 2.
Version 3 (due to be released shortly) does have this feature though (a secondary Binder highlight following the Editor placement).
brookter,
That’s exactly what I was looking for, thanks so much for your quick reply.
