Blank space in toolbar/layout in Full Screen or Tiled Window views on Catalina

Observed in Scrivener 3.1.3 (direct download, not App Store) running on macOS 10.15 on an iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, 2017).

To reproduce:

  1. View → Full Screen.
  2. Note odd blank space in toolbar area and on the right side of screen.

Alternately:

  1. Hover over the third from left window control button.
  2. Select “Tile Window to Left of Screen” (or Right, either way).
  3. Note odd blank space in toolbar area.

Maybe related to “Latest Catalina beta doing something visually weird to Scrivener”?

Yes, several issues from the last Catalina beta appear to have persisted into the release version.

Mine is also acting strange when changing layouts. This was actually reported by a friend. Fortunately for me this seems to be fixed by restarting the program. However, my friend’s doesn’t seem to go back to normal.

I can’t add a screenshot as ‘board attachment quota has been reached’.
