A huge thanks to your support team (at any rate the person in that team who sorted the problem). I lost an important chunk of a chapter on a YA novel I’m working on, and they retrieved it for me.
For the information of other users here, I think it the problem arose when I typed the chapter on an older version of Scrivener of my desktop IMac, then reopened on scriv 1.54 on my IbookG4. The ibook thought I’d been using Scrivener Gold demo, which I hadn’t - anyhow, I thought the chapter had gone, but the technical person sorted it. Bravo, you!
Fortunately, though, I didn’t lose the whole book. Which would have been more of a problem!
I’m guessing that was Ioa (seeing as there aren’t many of us) - glad he got you up and running!
All the best,
Keith
P.S. Have you thought about upgrading to version 2.2? There have been bucket-loads of improvements since 1.54. As you’re a 1.x user, the upgrade is only $25. You can continue to use 1.54 for as long as you want, of course, but I just thought I’d mention it.
