Emptying the trash with one of the files selected leads to a crash when you attempt to select a new file to view.
I’m getting the same issue.
I just tried this (Namely because I was emptying my trash on a project, anyway). Couldn’t make Scrivener crash. Are you using the 64-bit one? Which window manager? (KDE for me)
Am using Linux Mint 64-bit + XFCE and Scrivener 1.7.2.3 beta.
I’m using Linux Mint Debian Edition, fully up to date. Cinnamon is the desktop. As I said though it only crashes when I’m still viewing one of the files as I empty the trash, and to be clear it crashes once I click on something else afterwards. This occurs on both my desktop and laptop which are configured the same.
