Close project (Tutorial onscreen)
whole program closed
I was able to close Tutorial project only after I opened another project in a 2nd window.
Non fiction templates have not been enabled in the beta yet but will be in the release version.
Hope that helps.
I’m confused by this one. When you close a project it is SUPPOSED to close the whole program. Do you mean that you can only open a new project from within an open project? This is something that can be changed in preferences
If you click Edit → Options, then under the General Tab you will see two click boxes. The box next to “Open recent projects on program launch”. With this unchecked whenever you open Scrivener it will open to the New Project window instead. You can open recent projects from the drop box in the bottom left corner, or start a new project from scratch.
Closing the entire program when you close the last open file/project violates the paradigm of the typical well-behaved Windows program. If I’m working on a project and want to start something new, it’s very common to close the existing one, then select File | New.
