My F12 button is not working. I am using windows 10 with Scrivener version 3.0.1.0. Any help greatly appreciated.

The F12 button is not linked in the ‘Scrivener for Windows v3’ Shortcut Theme.
So, what do you want your F12 button to do? Hook it up and it does something. 
In the Shortcut Theme ‘Scrivener for Windows v1’ F12 exists => Options.
In V3 Options is started with Ctrl + , (comma)
So, search for Options, Press Record, Press F12, Press Apply.
