CAN ANYONE TELL ME HOW TO SOLVE AN ANNOYING PROBLEM

CAN ANYONE TELL ME HOW TO SOLVE AN ANNOYING PROBLEM WITH TYPING DATES IN MY SCRIVENER 2 ON MY MACOS10.13.1?

I TYPE DATES AS FOLLOWS: 6th January, 2nd Feb, 3rd May, 1st June. WITH THE t h, rd, st, nd IN SMALL SUBSCRIPT IN THE TOP HALF OF THE LINE. SCRIVENER DOES THAT FOR ME BEAUTIFULLY. BUT IF I SUBSEQUENTLY CHANGE THE FONT OR SIZE OF THE FONT THE SUBSCRIPT BECOMES FULL-SIZE SCRIPT WHICH MEANS THEY PROJECT ABOVE THE LINE MAKING THE GAP BETWEEN THE LINES LARGER. I CAN CHANGE IT BACK BUT SINCE I TYPE A LOT OF DATES AND CHANGE FONT SIZES FREQUENTLY, IT BECOMES A TIME-CONSUMING ANNOYANCE.

I’VE LOOKED FOR SETTINGS THAT WILL FIX THIS WITHOUT AVAIL.

I don’t see what that response had to do with the thread you posted in, so I’ve split it to its own topic.

That aside, here are some tips for good looking typography. And while you are there, scroll up to find a link to the an even earlier thread with more information on how to handle leading with super/subscripting. In brief you normally wouldn’t need to worry about this in Scrivener as it’s the sort of thing word processors and such tend to clean up automatically. In fact, in my previous testing it is often better to use full-size text in Scrivener rather than trying to emulate the look of a word processor with font sizes.
