# Can I have a theme color of my own choosing in Scriveners (Windows)?

I an not really happy about the themes in the lastest Scrivener versions. Yes, there are more than just white, but I wonder if it is possible to use one’s own color instead as a theme.

Actually, on the Windows platform, you can change about everything in your personal Theme. If you want to create your Theme, you can but maybe you want to look at some different Themes other users made:

And if you aren’t looking to change _everything_, down to what buttons look like, then the Appearance options tab is what you are looking for. So find a theme you like as a good starting point, and then if you like parchment looking off-white “paper” instead of white, have at it.
