Can I hide the accentuation of footnotes in compose mode?

Hello,

I was looking for a possibility, to hide the accentuation of footnotes in the compositing view, but I couldn’t find something like this. I have the problem, that the acccentuation of footnotes disturbs me during writing in the composition view (I suceed to align the BG of the paper with the BG of the footnote, but I cannot hide or change the colors of the black frames of the footnotes). Sorry for my english, I try my very best, but I am german and english is not my native language, and I am a newbie with Scrivener … Has anybody maybe any idea? It would be sooooo great!!
I looked for it in the manual, but didn´t found something like this :frowning:

You might prefer using markers instead of highlights. This is documented in §17.2.3 of the user manual, starting in the second paragraph on pg. 226.
