I know it seems a strange question but I would like to make a paste button so I can paste quicker and easier.
My setup won’t allow me to just use the hot keys or shortcuts so I would like to use a paste button but can’t find one in the presets … so I’d like to make my own.
Is this possible?

No, I haven’t heard of that. Because of my unusual setup I didn’t even think to look for something like that, but I’ll try it .
Still it would be cool to be able to make your own shortcut kind of buttons or at least have them available to you.
Offhand, I can’t remember any Mac app that allows you to make your own toolbar buttons, but I’m probably forgetting something obvious that others will point out.
What is special about your setup?
Thinking about it, another possibility is BetterTouchTool, which allows you to program gestures to achieve all sorts of things https://folivora.ai. I’ve always found it a bit overwhelming, and never really found a use for it, but it might help you.
I’m using a Mac (since 3.0 can only be for a Mac) but since I really don’t like working on it I use it via a Network app with a Windows or Linux Machine. That’s why I can’t use the shortcut keys like ctrl-V.
I don’t like gestures so I’ll pass on that app and yeah, it’s not like these buttons aren’t available for programmers it’s just that no one would want one when they can use the hot keys but, alas, I can’t use the hot keys.
It’s always something.
