Hi - Is there a way to remove unwanted entries on the Format/Screenwriting menu? (and the settings files that they refer to), I’ve been experimenting with setting up custom formats and I’ve got test entries that I no longer want.
I’ve found a way to do this. It seems that each user-created menu entry is kept as an .xml file in
C:\Documents and SettingsWindows username\Local Settings\Application Data\Scrivener\Scrivener\ScriptFormats. So if you don’t mind messing with the program files, they can be deleted here.
But the entries that come with the program are another matter. There are two entries on the menu for what appear to be the same thing:
Two entries for ‘Screenplay’, but no .xml file with this name in the Local Settings\Application Data\Scrivener\Scrivener\ScriptFormats folder.
It’s not a big deal, but it’s an irritant. Is there a way to clean this up?
