I don’t want to hook my laptop up to the internet so it stays clean. I’m paranoid about pulluting my laptop, and I don’t write on my regular computer because I don’t want to be chained to a desk to write. Is there a version I can get on a disk that wouldn’t require internet activation or anything like that?
You can get a copy of Scrivener on disk for a nominal additional charge. In our store, after you choose Scrivener itself, you’ll be offered the disk as an additional option.
There’s an offline activation procedure. Essentially, you use an internet-connected computer to get an activation code, then enter that code at the non-connected computer. The activation software will walk you through the process.
