Can snapshots show differences in text files order?

So in my document, I have the entire draft divided into different text pieces in the binder, for example:

DRAFT (folder, everything below is a separate text file)

  • Introduction
  • Section 1
  • Section 2
    etc.

Based on what I read in the manual, if I create snapshots of all these text files, then I can compare changes within Section 1 and within Section 2, etc.

But let’s say I move things around and the order becomes:

  • Introduction
  • Section 2
  • Section 1

Will snapshots show me how I have rearranged the text pieces compared to the previous snapshots?

I found some workarounds here but they aren’t exactly what I’m looking for.

No. Snapshots are document-based, they don’t show things like Binder position.

To test a potential order before making it permanent, use Collections. To compare the current order to a previous order, use full project backups. You can also Compile to one of the outline formats to make a “note” of the order before rearranging things.

All right, thank you @kewms for confirming what I suspected! I just wanted to make sure I wasn’t missing anything.
