Working out of Dropbox … hm was working, looking for text and discovered that some of my files, though they existed - had no text in them …
This has caused a major cardiac moment …
If I do as suggested - how much do I lose?
I though Drop Box was my salvation … is it my death?
hmm - did what was requested and heart restarted … but the failure of the original was a worry - this happen often - pretty sure it was syncing with dropbox that caused it …
I’d recommend reading chapter 13 of the user manual, which goes over some important concepts when using Dropbox to store live projects. It can be risky to use Dropbox, but there are a few easy guidelines to follow which should make using it error free. We have plenty of people using Dropbox successfully (but conversely I’ve seen a lot of problems with it when the rules aren’t adhered to).
