Cannot search by Label and Status


I installed the 1.9.5 update this morning, and since then, I haven’t been able to make any searches using the Label or Status lists in my existing project. Also, the collections I had with those seaches are now empty. Is this a bug, or do I have to set up something else in the new version?

I have the same problem. On Windows 7. Scrivener 1.9.5.

Chiming in to say, I have the same problem. Hope it can be fixed soon, I use create collections with these searches all the time.

I’m afraid that the inability to search by label or status is indeed a bug in version 1.9.5, but Jennifer (MimeticMouton) tells me that it will be fixed in the next update. If you have any existing saved searches, they will remain intact, and will appear as normal in 1.9.6 when that is released.

Do you have an idea of when the next update will be? The inability to search on status is impeding my workflow.

I second j3s’s request for a timescale for 1.9.6.
I am a Windows 10 user, and my saved searches by label have not been saved intact - or if they have, they are neither visible to nor usable by me. I would rather not have to go through hundreds of scrivenings to set up keywords in lieu of labels if I can avoid it. I can probably manage a week or so, but certainly not months. It’s very disappointing to have lost this functionality, so please do let us know when we will get it back.

We’ve been trying to fix one last issue for the update, a problem whereby some systems haven’t been able to run 1.9.5 at all. We’d rather not put out an update we know isn’t going to work on these machines, but if we’re not able to get to the bottom of that issue soon, we’ll probably push this update out anyway and just continue working on that one. We’re definitely talking a week or two, not months.

Saved searches aren’t lost; they’re just not returning any results at present because the search function isn’t correctly including label and status. With that bug fixed, your search collections will open and display as normal.
