Dragging the icon in Firefox’s address bar into the document references list doesn’t work.
Using Firefox 2.0.0.15 and Scrivener 1.11 on OSX 10.5.4
The work around is to switch to Safari.
I don’t think this is so much a bug as a difference in the way Firefox 2.x places URL data on the dragging pasteboard (Scrivener expects the Apple standard NSURL pasteboard type to read URLs). I’ve just tried it and it works fine in Firefox 3, so if you upgrade to Firefox 3.0 you should be fine - they seem to have fixed it so that Firefox now uses the Apple standard pasteboard type.
