I haven’t used Scrivener for a while and am just starting up again. I seem to remember there were Services but I can’t find them. I go to System Preferences and I can see services for other apps but not Scrivener.
I’m using Lion and the version downloaded from the website.
Just to confirm the obvious, you’ve opened System Preferences > Keyboard > Keyboard Shortcuts and highlighted Services in the left hand pane?
On my Lion system, the Scrivener services are under the Text subsection. I don’t remember having to do anything to install them, although they’re not enabled by default. (NB: Under Lion services only appear in the main Services menu for apps in circumstances where they are relevant and available – e.g. where it’s possible to clip, etc.)
Apologies if you already know this, but at least it confirms that Scrivener does still provide services and if you’re not seeing them there’s a problem of some sort. Unfortunately, I don’t know the answer to how to bring them back
