I started writing a project without properly setting the first line of a paragraph indent to 0.70 cm. So for each scene I’ve written so far I’ve tried to adjust the indent accordingly with a ruler. Some allowed 0.70 fine, others wavered between 0.68 and 0.72 or suchlike and I couldn’t get it precise. So, after checking support, I tried zooming in and setting 0.70 cm. Fine! But when i zoomed out again the settings were way off. Can you help me to get these five or six scenes lined up properly please?

Hi Mike,
The OS X ruler is a bit funny like that. What I’d recommend doing is just selecting the scenes and using Documents > Convert > Formatting to Default Text Style, assuming you have now set up the “Formatting” pane of the Preferences to have the indent you want.
