Can't stack items in corkboard view[NOTED]

In other words, I can’t add things to my already existing folders while dragging and dropping on the corkboard. It’s not a bug, exactly. More like an enhancement request. Considering the corkboard is designed to mimic index cards that can be rearranged at will, being able to create stacks of them is just a small logical hop. It would also be much easier than in the tree view on the left, since the cards are bigger.

One concern could be the potential to accidentally add them to a folder, but if the card needs to be mostly (80-90%, I guess…) on top of the other card, then I don’t see it being a big issue.

I’m not quite sure if I’m following what you are saying here. Are you saying you want to be able to drag Card X on top of Card B and have it dropping into Card B, much in the same way as dragging a file into a folder in Explorer would place that file into the folder?

Yep, that’s exactly what I’m looking for. It’s not a very big issue, but it’s something that would be nice to have.

Worth holding onto that thought for the future, but do read the below link also. The guys are going to be working pretty flat out for a while on the existing feature set after all!

Eddy.

Eh, I’m used to writing up enhancement requests as bug reports since that’s how we do it at work (I test medical software for a living, so I’m sort of used to this whole thing).

There’s also the chance that it’s supposed to work the way I think it is, and it’s actually broken (not necessarily this bug in particular, but as a general rule). So I write it up and wait for mac veterans to say “no, that’s not an existing feature” or “yep that’s broken…” I’ll definitely keep a running list of enhancement ideas for whenever the wishlist forum goes live though. Yay scrivener!
